Users and Carers

Involvement of service users and family or carers is crucial to developing effective service provision.

We are working with groups of users/ex-users in order to drive up standards and quality of substance misuse services. We are able to provide capacity training to groups of users to help move from good ideas to positive actions and activity. We can help partnerships with effective engagement with current or ex-users or in fact those not yet in treatment.


Family or carers of those experiencing substance misuse problems are often crutial in the recovery process.

It is becoming more widely acknowledged that carers need to be engaged at all levels from direct caring through to being part of care plans and to supporting strategic partnerships plan effective treatment services. We can advise of effective family carers involvement.
